I'm going to go with flying high.........

I thought Black Hawk Down was the worst movie I've ever seen.

What about the movie on the YSSY spotters showing only on QF!

Nah, best aviation movie would have to be Top Gun and The Terminal.

Do we have clearance Clarence?
Yes, great movie.
I also like Top Gun and The Terminal

By the way, did you notice that in the outside shots of the plane in Flying High, the engine sound is actually not a jet, rather a prop aircraft sound effect.

And also on landing it sounded like a jet. The Auto Pilot was one of the funniest things that I have seen especially when he started to go flat.

Flying High is a classic. My wife only saw it for the first time about a month ago......she's been under a rock.

If you like the movie it is worth watching it on the DVD version with the commentary on....you'll learn a few things about the movie that you didn't know before.

The Terminal is great. Tom Hanks would have to be the best actor goin around. If you watch the making of the Terminal they will show you that they actually built the entire set, ie. the terminal, from scratch inside an old blimp hangar in California.
Its hard to go past the first few scenes of Behind Enemy Lines.

cheers,
