Brilliant.

If anyone has anything from the 80's or 90s it would be great to see...

I offer a very detailed historical Coolangatta aerodrome plan with the URL below. I have dated it to the late 1980s and has runway measurements that might be of interest to researchers. It has taxiway Charlie shown all the way to the RW14 threshold which was not shown built on a November 1984 aerial image but shown on June 1987 aerial image. It does not have an apron shown where the present day international B787 and A333 planes park on the northern end of the terminal. That area is shown as grass on June 1990 aerial image but is a sealed apron with marked aircraft bays on a June 1991 aerial image. So plan late 1980s according to that evidence. This is the 2042 metre runway and lengthened to 2492 metres in 2007 which allowed scheduled direct flights by larger wide body aircraft such as the Boeing 777, Boeing 787 and Airbus A330 types between Coolangatta and China, Japan, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

I have had the plan since the 1990s and it seems to have been photocopied a few times before I got it and some smaller numbers reflect this. Plan downloadable from my Google Drive. I converted the original TIFF to JPEG so there is a choice
JPRG version (3MB) https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByB-pp ... dNMUk/view
Original TIFF version (862kb) https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByB-pp ... BabEE/view

The aerial images I mentioned as dating evidence, with their precise dates on the photo side strip, are freely downloadable from the QLD Government of Natural Resources and Mines (DNRM)
