My mum lives overlooking the airport from the southern end. She said the last two Wednesdays in a row the air asia night flight has done a go around and then landed..

Maybe coincidence I guess, but only happened on same flight two weeks in a row.. anyone can comment ?

Hi David, according to the tech crew on one of these occasions they hit a small patch of bad weather unexpectedly, unsure of the exact conditions.

Just spotted ZK-ECO landing at OOL as Vincent 810 - beautiful to see one of the birds!

Did not see it but it's been around for about 12 months. VH-LAA has been around even longer.

They never appear on FlightAware so you don't know when to expect them.
