You probably are all aware of this, but in case you missed it, the airshow Facebook page announced the F35s will be flying out on Sunday afternoon during airshow hours. They haven't given a time yet. I guess it will be just a takeoff and maybe a circuit of the airport. But if you are wavering about either going Saturday or Sunday, this may help your decision ;)

Online provisional flying program has been updated to now include the F-35s departure on Sunday, straight after the ADF showcase display.

No timing on the program, but going by the sequencing looks to be maybe around ~2.00-2.30 ??

Other than that, no other changes that caught my eye. Sat & Sun are still identical to each other (other than the F-35). Used to like what they've done the last couple of shows when they would alternate some acts between morning and afternoon on the weekend, made each day a bit different.

Last I heard it wasn't coming anymore

Hasn't been removed from the ADU website, so perhaps there is some hope still.

Thanks for the update.

I was hopeful after seeing this on Youtube that it may free up one of their jets:

It was listed on the PACAF news article released just mid last week, so hopefully there hasn't been a last minute change.

As per Bens video link, the 9th relieved the 34th at Guam earlier this month. Hopefully they can still spare us at least one jet.

A number of photos are beginning to surface online, it appears the F-35s have arrived at Amberley this afternoon.

Seems the F16s left NZ a few hours ago. Likely they will be at Avalon now, or very soon if not.

A Canadian Air Force plane landed at YMML at around 2200 tonight using the callsign "Canforce 2561", presume it will eventually head to Avalon?
