It seems Jetstar A321 VH-VWW may have gone u/s here in TSV. It operated JQ918 from Melbourne earlier this evening, but has not departed back to MEL and the departure time continues to get pushed out.

Gulfstream 4 due off Townsville shortly (0020Z) for Majuro and Honolulu. I'm guessing N888ES ex Hamilton Island, can someone confirm by hunch? Thanks JB

VH-VWW finally departed back to Melbourne four hours late. Reason was the A321 needed an inspection after a bird strike.

CS-TMT inbound TSV at this from the west, so assuming the A333 is from Darwin. Callsign 'Aussie zero six eight'.

A36-001 just landed TSV as EVY16

I know the FA18's and other RAAF planes fly the strip before they land, but does this include the 737's and A330's? As this flight just did a go around. Wasn't listening to the scanner so didn't hear it.

Cheers

Well just as I was about to jump into the shower through the window I heard the sweet sound of radials and saw 3 Caribous, looks like the practices have already begun guys.

Thanks Martin, have the 737 inbound now.

Pity we missed each other at the Townsville Air Show mate. Would have been nice to meet but it was just such a busy weekend. No doubt there will be another time in the not too distant future where we will assemble again for another aviation show.

Cheers,
Dave.

Hello all,

Was nice to see the Caribou's doing circuits again today, they are still doing touch and goes as I type.

Cheers
