The "Omega Man" a B703 that Stefan noted arriving in Cairns the other day is due into Willy just before noon today.

So should be some fun with the Hornets over the next few days for the locals - lets hope Stephen, Motty and Timmy are on to this "Classic Seven O" like a "rash"!

Also F-111's will be operating from Willy today

Love the tanking practise!

Edit: believe the Omega 703 N707MQ departed late in the day with a gaggle of 77 Sqn Hornets for Agana Guam, one straggler F-18 departed next day as "Aussie 847". Then onto Korat, Thailand for Milex "Thai Boomerang" lets hope this is reciprocal and the Thai F-16's visit Willy some time in the future. A21-21, A21-34, A21-43, A21-47, A21-50, A21-56 noted in Korat.

One RF-111C A8-126 operated the following LJR from Williamtown on Friday:

LJR CENTRAL AND EASTERN NEW S WALES
MIL F111 JET ACFT OPR ON THE FLW ROUTE:
NOWRA 282024 (DESC FROM A080) / NOWRA 355013 / NOWRA /
CANBERRA 329017 / CANBERRA 250012 / CANBERRA 240036 /
YOUNG 105031 / COWRA 105017 / ORANGE 310017 / DUBBO 116009 /
GILGANDRA 141005 (ASCENT)

LLO004 OPR WI 10NM TR
SFC TO 5000FT AGL
FROM 08 210130 TO 08 210510

AN-124 inbound - expected in about an hour.

MAKS Down Under

Balus has her as "VDA1752" RA-82043 from Honolulu a first appearance for this airframe on the balus logs.

Off loaded A21-53 by accounts and departed late next day.

4 Hornets to be exact...

A21-57, 22, 54 and 45 all followed it out of Darwin a few days back...

Richard, I guess Pitch Black 2010 will be the reciprocal return for the Thai F-16's.
