Just passed OOL at 1610. Unfortunately at 500ft they were asked to track direct from Point Danger to Burleigh Heads over water so I didn't see them.

Cheers Terry, must say I was very impressed by the commitment shown by 816 Sqn, they should be around Caloundra in the next few days for anyone local looking to catch up ... Heard a yank pilot or observer (probably on exchange) call up Coffs ATC for clearance through the Evans Head Restricted Area (Weapons Range) to be told it was deactivated, they also provided ATC with a weather update coastal; call sign of the formation was priceless: "Tiger Black"

Just heading up the coast now and plan to do a wee bit of spotting, the weather doesn't look great for it though!

It flew over my house about 15 mins ago and has now arrived at Caloundra. It came in from the north so I presume it made a stop at Maroochydore. Not sure of the rego.
