I'll keep this as a rumor this stage but QF Freight GM just said in an interview in Aircargo Asia Pacific magazine that they will be gatting a 767-300F next year & it will be the first aircraft to carry the colour's of QF Freght! :D

Yes I herd the same. Conversion of the a/c is ahead of planned date. Might see it in Sydney at the end of FEB if not March for sure!

The aircraft should have QANTAS Air Freight titles and livery.

I sure hope the 767 doesn't replace the BAe 146's

I don't think it will. Why use a 767 for short freight hops?
And besides, the 146 can land during curfew.. the 767 cannot :)

Another QF734 leaves the fleet or getting a repaint at ML today. I saw it whilst on the way to the JHAS Hanger

observed yesterday at Qantas with all markings painted out or scrubbed off, only TJF at top of fin still readable

It was towed to D4A and is now operating 6019 to YSSY

Hi Lloyd, Love to see one down here again, Im chasing some Dc8's down in the US in May the main ones being ATI with their regular run into LAX and hopefully some into MIA and SEA. I find because they do freight work they fly at night and hard to get some good shots, Any word of the operator or is it top secret, If it is ATI it might save me a sleep in when I go to the US as they arrive at 715am!!!

Paul Hi.I also hope it comes off.It will be a American carrier.

I have sent a message off to the pilot on another forum to find out a ETA.

Time will tell but i cant say too much as one or 2 members of this forum will be sceptical . :roll:
