Meanwhile, Batik Air plans to fly from East Nusa Tenggara’s Kupang to Darwin and from Denpasar to Adelaide, South Australia.

Thanks very much for this info. Im really surprised Garuda or even Air Asia havnt started Adelaide-Denpesar now that they have the right equipment for such a service. Hopefully this Batik Air makes a goer of it.

Any further news on the QF Adelaide-Auckland flights that are proposed to connect with EK440/441?

It has been reported via http://www.airliners.net/aviation-forum ... 0754/#last that Air Asia X is planning (or has applied) to start 4 flights a week to Adelaide effective October 2nd 2013.

I've just noticed on the Adelaide Airport Wikipedia page that Garuda are to start flying here from the 3rd November to DPS. Also says that Aeroflot are to start flying to Moscow via Bangkok from 3rd October. Now, I believe both of these airlines are not interested in flying here at the minute, but is there any chance of this actually being true?

Morning all,

I heard on Triple M Adelaide news yesterday that Singapore is to go double daily, I only heard the story in the background so wasn't sure if they said has decided or is thinking about it. Grain of salt and all that.

SQ277/276 increased to 5 a week which started on Thursday. New flights are on Thursday and Sunday. Now they are at 12 flights a week.

Malaysia Airlines will be increasing to 8 flights a week for a 4 week period from 22/12/13 to 18/1/14 (1st flight into Adelaide will be on 22/12/13, last flight will depart Adelaide on 18/1/14). The extra flight will be on Saturday morning's using B777-200ER's. This extra flight is bookable through http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/uk/en.html

MH137 Dep KUL 2045 Arr ADL 0615+1
MH136 Dep ADL 1000 Arr KUL 1445

Current Daily Schedule (using A330-300's)...

MH139 Dep KUL 1030 Arr ADL 0815+1

MH136 Dep ADL 1000 Arr KUL 1445 (Operates Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday)
MH138 Dep ADL 1430 Arr KUL 1930 (Operates Monday, Thursday & Saturday)

4x weekly increasing to 5x weekly in December

In 0945 Out 1100 - Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun changing to Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun from December
