Looks like we'll have the privilege of seeing the Antonov AN225 in Perth in April. :D

Wow, is this the first AN-225 to Australia or Perth?

Looks like arriving now on May 15 and staying for 2 days. Michael I'm not 100% sure if this will be a 1st visit or not, I've seen conflicting stories.

It's really disappointing that this event has been hyped up and broadcast across so many media outlets. Every man and his pig will now be jostling to get close to this once in a lifetime event. Forget about going to the viewing platform to watch as there will be no parking available and like last time when the A350 came security will be waving people on as it will be at capacity and over flowing.

This should have been kept hush hush so that genuine aviation fanatics could enjoy this event in peace. This is not the event for people that do not know a 747 from a Cessna.

Really disappointed. This really should have been kept quiet and under wraps.

Why shouldn't anyone who is interested be allowed to see it?

I notice on Flightradar24 they have a special section following the AN-225 from Ukraine to Australia. The times are obviously tentative, however at this stage scheduled to arrive Perth at 10am on Sun 15th May and depart at 6am on Tue 17th May.
