Adelaide Noteworthy Movements - March 2019

Postby Brad C » Fri Mar 01, 2019 11:01 pm

Might start one of these just to see how many views it gets; that way we can see who still checks the forum.

Recent changes:
- SQ 333 to 359
- CX timing change
- NZ only 772s recently
- EK sending 77Ls during spring and autumn. The 77Ls are being reconfigured and won't have F, perhaps this means they won't be sent to ADL anymore.

NZ sent the All Black 77W late last year; CZ has left SkyTeam so spot the silver 330s while you can :)

Thanks Brad.
I was wondering about the EK 77L change... when it happened and how long for. Thanks for confirming.
One to add to your list.

Ha, knew I forgot one. First Australian airport to receive the 737max too I believe.

Next EK 77W service is 31/3.

Fourth regionally-configured SQ 359 9V-SHD is en route to SIN as SQ8895 so expect it here soon.

There's a couple of active Facebook groups. Not sure if he ended up there. I can't access them because I'm not on Facebook :)

The Emirates -200lr’s will be permanaent to Adelaide. They may sneak a -300ER in from time to time. But Adelaide is now an 200LR route.

Malindo I beleive is now pushed back to late April.

Adelaide is now classed as a Wode body route for Air New Zealand. Which means any of their wode body fleet will be used to Adelaide regardless of B787 engine issues.

The usual Summer rush of corporate jets have descended upon Adelaide in recent weeks (both Aussie and foreign registered). Currently GLEX’s 9H-OJS, VH-LBU, VH-SGA and N700KJ all on the ground.
